Review on: Primer/Corrector Smashbox Photo Finish Foundation Primer SPF 15 Dermaxyl
I have tried the original Photo Finish Primer and this Photo Finish Primer with SPF 15 and Dermaxyl Complex. It seems a little heavier than the original before it is absorbed but after you can't tell a difference. I love the added protection of SPF 15 as some of my foundations don't contain it. It does an amazing job of filling in fine lines and wrinkles. I even convinced my dad to try to it (a super macho railroad worker) and it did wonders. Of course he would never leave the house with "makeup" on! :) It makes my liquid foundation look flawless. Some people love the pump dispenser but I feel like you waste the last 1/4 of the bottle because it won't pump out. A great way around this is to buy the travel sizes. I found them at ULTA. For $17.00 you get 0.5 oz, get two which equals out to the 1.0oz normal bottle with the pump. If you do your math, you will realize that you get 1.0oz for $34.00 instead of the $42.00 that is charged for the larger size. Plus you don't waste any as the travel sizes are squeeze bottles. Of course, some executive is gonna read this and change the price...so get it while you can! LOL But honestly it is worth either price for such a great product
I liked this product when I first tried it out , It gives you a very smooth finish , you can wear it alone or under makeup. But I have since found other products that I like mucj better.
I have been using searching for the perfect natural brow for years and have a drawer full of pencils , but this is one of the best and most natural product I have come across .I have blonde hair so I use the blonde color
Pros: more natural look
Cons: doesnt last as long as a pencil
I LOVE this product! Not only does this smooth my lines and make my foundation flawless (and virutally unnoticeable), but it also helps to KEEP my foundation looking flawless all day! As the day wears on, I usually sweat, which causes my makeup to start to "show" and look blotchy (or sometimes cakey), but with this, my foundation lasts and lasts and lasts!
TWO HUGE thumbs up!!!
(I got mine NEW on ebay for $10, so this was definitely a deal, as it retails for $36-40. However, I'd still pay full price for it as it lasts a long time and is a superb product!)
Pros: Helps prime your face for foundation
Helps makeup last longer
Cons: A little pricey
Review on: Eyes - Eye Shadows Smashbox eye trio-on stage
This eyeshadow trio is perfect for a neutral look i love it. I got it free with another smashbox purchase and i am so happy i did. But i think i am going to buy some of the other trios.
Pros: great colors, colors go great together
Cons: pricey
Love this eyeshadow. It's a lot like MAC's golden olive pigment. It has a really shimmery finish and it's really smooth and not chalky and easy to blend and lasts all day.
Review on: Tools - Makeup Brushes Smashbox eyeliner brush #21
i love this brush, it makes it incredibly easy to line your waterline with gel/cream liners because its head is bent. its pricey but i think its totally worth it
Review on: Concealers Smashbox Camera Ready Full Coverage
I have really dark circles under my eyes, and I must say that this concealer does a good job covering them. I dont like that the products gets in the fine lines that my eyes have...but I can live with that for now...until I find a better concealer.
Pros: Good under eye circle coverage
Cons: Leaves my eyes dry, gets into fine lines.
I have only been using PhotoFinish for a couple months now but it is just fantastic.... Over my moisturizer and before my foundation. Sooo smooth and silky. I actually use it on days that I do not wear foundation just because it makes my skin feel so smooth. It really helps even out the foundation I use, Revlon Colorstay, and keeps it from getting that dried out, chalkey look. I haven't found anything better and don't plan to ever stop using Photo Finish...
Review on: Eyes - Eye Makeup Smashbox Master Class Expert Eyes Kit
This is a really great kit, especially for the price. You get 2 eyeshadow trios (Pretty Eyes and Smokey Eyes), cream eyeliner duo (Midnight Brown and Caviar (black)), That's A Wrap mascara, #21 Angled liner brush, #15 (blending) shadow brush and #10 (contour dome) shadow brush.
I have done both looks that are on the DVD that comes in the set (I wish it would have gone slower, the whole DVD is 4 minutes long). I love the shades, but most of all I love the angled liner brush, it makes putting the cream eyeliner on so easy and effortless. You are able to position the brush in such a way that a tight line next to your lashes or a thicker line are easy to do.
If you love Smashbox cosmetics, I would recommend getting this kit (when it comes out, right now it is available only to Sephora Beauty Insiders). Think about it, the brushes alone would be $60.
Pros: Great products!
Cons: DvD tutorial goes WAYYY too fast
Review on: Concealers Smashbox Camera Ready Full Coverage
I LUV the consistency of concealers that aren't totally liquid but more like a stick or compact that you can blend in easily with fingertips - this didn't blend in well tho & it looked dry after a few hours. It covers only OK, I won't use it for blemishes but I will use it for the under-eye area..
Pros: nice consistency
Cons: only works under-eye for me, didn't blend in as well, not that great of coverage
Review on: Lips - Lip Gloss Smashbox Lip Enhancing Gloss
I luvvv this lip gloss from Smashbox. I have it in a medium pinkish shade (I think it's "Expose"). I usually dont wear much color on my lips but this gave me the perfect amount of color in a pretty shade.
Pros: good color, glossy, lasts for a while
Cons: expensive,
Review on: Eyes - Mascara Smashbox Focal Point Lash Building
I love this mascara.. I always have problems with too much mascara on the wand - making my lashes look so clumpy & overly done. This mascara is great because one or two coats makes them look evenly coated & not overly done.
Primer is like a must for me because my foundation goes on so much more evenly with it - I liked Smashbox in the beginning but once I tried a different brand I liked the other one so much better. This one also is a little too oily feeling/sticky.
Pros: smoothes out face, allows foundation to go on better
Cons: too oily/sticky feeling, expensive,
Review on: Palettes Smashbox Lip service palettet2
This sleek palette contains 18 lip colors in every shade you could hope for, from neutral brown and classic rose to uplifting pink and confident red. Use the included lipstick brush to find your favorite color or mix and match to make up your one color.
Pros: The lipstick color stays on for a long time
Cons: the lipstick is very dry and you need somekind of gloss
Review on: Primer/Corrector Smashbox Anti-Shine Anti-Brilliance
I have both anti-shine gel and powder compact and both work amazing, especially when used together. One you apply before your make up, one you apply after. Maybe be a little expensive when you aren't working but definitely worth it! Highly recommended for oily skin.
Pros: Leaves you with a matte finish!
Cons: Can be a little pricey.

Review on: Highlighter Smashbox Tokidoki Artificial Light Luminizing Lotion
I thought I would give this a try since Skinlights are being discontinued...You can use this straight..or with foundation or moisturizer..I chose to use it in my foundation...a word of caution..if you don't like a very sparkly color use only a bit...it wasn't overly glowy..and kept the look all day..It's supposed to be a gold with pink glow...but it was a very subtle color when a bit was used..which I liked...It is a bit pricey...but it does go a long way...It's also a LE for now...
There have been a few times in which I started to put on a little bit of foundation and I realize I forgot my primer, so I'll wash it off because this primer makes such a difference in the way my foundation goes on. It makes my skin feel so smooth, my foundation looks so much more nicer with it.
I have the green photo finish corrector. I can't say much about it's redness correcting--I don't really notice a difference, but I don't expect it to neutralize my redness completely since many foundations can't even do that for me.
Pros: Creates perfect canvas for foundation and it comes in a pump bottle
Cons:
